As you are aware, we are headquartered in Michigan. Recently, Governor Whitmer issued a “stay at home” order for Michigan, effective at 12:01 am on Tuesday March 24th. Many of you are under similar orders in other states. We wanted to share some of our thoughts about what we’re facing and how Americorp is responding.
Right now, our role as a medical equipment finance source is to help customers acquire the equipment they need during this crisis. We are striving to make the best decisions with two goals in mind: The first is to protect our customers, employees and their families. The second is to do the best we can to assist in the acquisition of equipment that is critically needed.
How does this affect you?
- All our employees will be working remotely for at least the next three weeks.
- We will continue to process new applications and facilitate the acquisition of equipment.
- We will work with current customers who are having trouble meeting their obligations.
Understandably, turnaround times will be affected due to these developments and we will provide regular updates as the situation continues to change. We are also closely monitoring developments at both the federal and state levels.
