Brief info

Chris Weidenbach serves as the Controller for Americorp Financial and works with Americorp's end-user customers on accounting needs. In his role, Chris has helped Americorp develop flexible equipment programs including bundling consumables/disposables/reagents and other services into healthcare financing solutions for our vendors.

Chris is responsible for overseeing the inner workings of the accounting department. This includes making certain all transactions are accounted for properly, preparation of management reports to assist in efficient and accurate decision making, and producing financial statements and related schedules for internal and external use.  He also works closely with all the various types of auditors to fulfill any information requests and coordinate activities related to audits.

He has been with Americorp Financial since 1996 and has a broad and deep knowledge of the equipment leasing and financing industry. He has maintained a critical role in implementing new programs offered to customers from an internal perspective while also serving as a bridge between the company, the customer, and sales representatives.

Chris graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  During his time at MSU, he also served as Controller for Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. He has worked in public accounting as well as the manufacturing and steel industries.

He enjoys spending time on the lake with his wife, Carrie, and daughter and son, Coral and Lincoln, and watching and helping them to fish, ski, and swim. His hobbies include barefoot water skiing, running marathons, playing basketball, scuba diving and watching Spartan games. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new exotic locations.
